hello again scotland

November 26, 2011

I wrote an ode to Scotland when I was there this past September and there isn’t much I can add to it except this — Scotland is in no way diminished by a second visit. Particularly when the larch trees are cloaked in gold and the dusk sky is painted in shades of violet dust. There are certain places in the world that you stop seeing after a while, such is human nature… we take things for granted. Scotland, however, does not give you that option. Scotland is ever-changing. And one can’t help but be blown away by its beauty, time and again. There simply are no words.

You are tempting me with Scotland again. It is so beautiful. And that picture of you two at the end there? It is up there with Scotland…gorgeous. I have been thinking about you a lot and hoping you are doing okay. Sending you love and hugs…xoxo

These are my favorite. Not sure why, but they made my heart tighten. My eyes get watery when it happens. And I exhale. Feels like love.

    You are a great photographer.

Gorgeous photography! Scotland is #1 on my list of places to see. Since I was little I’ve been fascinated by their history! Thanks for sharing.
