monday. monday.
March 7, 2011
lately, i’ve been
- working. days. nights. weekends
- surprising the bejesus out of the British Boy for our 2 year anniversary
- obsessed with the economist’s thinking space
- listening to warpaint’s cover of ashes to ashes over and over and over
- reading this
- tearing up over the julie project (via christina)
- revamping my resume, which is about as fun as getting a root canal but it feels good to get the englandbound ball rolling
- loving this poster
- hooked on pastries and espresso. it’s the answer to everything
- snowboarding, cross country skiing and snow shoeing
- scouring mrs. french’s pinterest boards
- grateful for skype
- coveting this
- dreaming of summertime backyard bbqs
- having a go at my inbox but the inbox keeps winning (inbox 37. jeanine 0)
- waiting for my hair to grow so that i can do a messy side ponytail
- feeling like this
- longing to feel this way
- happy that march is here
- waiting (very impatiently) for spring to arrive (if today’s blizzard is any indication, daffodils won’t be blooming any time soon)
- proud of my man for taking on the challenge of walking across wales this may (45 miles in 24 hours) and raising funds for multiple sclerosis. do feel free to support him here
- thinking i’d like to go here when i am in london next
- wishing i was here right now
- realizing that the only way to release fear is to walk right into it
- loving this quote: “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” — Albert Einstein
- procrastinating. always.
ok. must get back to work.
what have you been up to lately?

doing the auntie thing and taking the oldest niece to see beiber – liking it more than i should probably. working my ass off but my pants don’t seem to fit better. reading up a storm and writing in tiny little journals thoughts about what i’m reading. waiting for this small cold snap to pass.
the Julie project broke my heart….
Really liked these photos, they’re lovely.
Have a good day!
Egad! Well I was up to working but now I’m up to forwarding that poster to anyone I know (over 35yo) with a sense of humor and a printer. Just put it up in my break room and giggled all the way back to my desk.
Love your posts always I do.
Happy Tuesday!
Picture 1 & 2 are so good. And the Julie Project was just oh my, so moving.
I have the mundane task of trimming business cards on my to-do list today so I put on your playlist from Music. I like it. A lot. While you’re updating your resumé, I think you should add “kick ass music selector” to your skill set. You could create movie soundtracks or even personal playlists. You have a gift.
Love these captures ~ especially your reflection in the cafe window.
And thanks for sharing what you’ve been up to, I agree with Elisabelle, the Julie project broke my heart….
I just read the Julie project and it left me with tears in my eyes and speechless! Absolutely speechless. Thanks for sharing!
Besides, I really enjoyed your set of pictures, nice capturings!
Kristina
