In retrospect, signing up to nablopomo wasn’t the most clever idea I’ve ever had. Kind of like my hair circa 1985, which was catastrophically large. Pity that all my photos are stashed in a box somewhere in my sister’s basement because I’d have no choice but to show you that nest of a thing I called hair and then you’d have to concede that yes, it was a bad idea and perhaps, I should put the can of hair spray down and step away from the comb.

But hey, if I could survive the whole of October sober then by God, I can write a blog post a day.

So we’re going to start very slowly today. Consider this a warm up before the marathon.

And… post!
