Although, I did swim in a lake for the first time in ten or so years…
No! I’m so happy that summer is coming to an end. I love autumn!
Hello Jeanine. Your pictures are gorgeous ! Though I looove summer very much, Im always happy when fall’s coming. Fun things ? Well, I’m in Lisbon for two more days, and then I go visit Prague if everything goes well. I really needed a big long far away break … I’m already feeling better. Wish you the best for the lake ;o)
Hi. Your photos are lovely. I injured my leg a few weeks ago and am resting at home. When I get well I wanna go to my favorite park with a small beach π
I so know how you feel about not swimming. Luckily I got to Lake Michigan twice this year but I must admit I didn’t stay in the water nearly as long as I usually would.
As for my fun thing to do; New York city baby. Taking off tomorrow at 2:30 a.m.
Oh and that picture with the winding staircase just plain makes me feel happy.
Picnics, a couple of hikes and at least two or three concerts…but boy, it’s already kinda cold here, there isn’t much time left!!!
Camping (leaving today for a few nights) and eating more corn on the cob.
moi aussi! π¦
on my list…a walk here http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=546
with sandals through the knee high creek to a quiet little pepple strewn ‘beach’ barely big enough for two…and some serious nap time in the shinesun. π

your photos as phenomenal, like you.
what’s left to do this summer for me?
just be.
I am trying not to think of it, I didn’t get half do have of my ‘summer activities’ list. But I suppose I have to have something to do next summer yes?
No less than 10 times I have seen friends write this week about how it “smells like fall” and how “glorious” it is. Yet, to me there could not be worse words. I love the seasons, but I want this summer to stay forever. This week I am going to climb a giant sand dune, and I will swim in the lake, even if it is cold and feels like autumn is closing in. I hope you get to too!
These photographs are so perfect, especially the tennis courts!
Your best series yet. Love the shot with the limes. And not to rub it in…but I just spent three days bobbing in a lake. : )
eat more peaches. clean windows. let’s leave it at that:)
