I have not even begun to process this trip and the beauty of it all. So while I recover and until the words come, here are a few shots (out of a million billion) from Iceland and NYC to tide you over.
HOLY SHIT! I am blown away. Seriously. These are fan-freaking-tastic!
I really really love the room with the reflection and pink blanket….the light is superb. The one below with all of the houses is amazing too. Looks like it was done with a tilt-shift!
And the one of you guys in the hot tub is beautiful! Sheez….I love them all :o)
scrolling down the breath was just soaked right out of me. what an incredible experience, so glad we could see a tiny bit of it through your eyes.
xoxo
I think the Iceland Tourism Board needs to hire you; these make me want to book a plane ticket immediately. These are all amazing, but the one of the two of you just shines with love. xo
wow wow & whoa! Those are simply spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so jealous lol. It’s so beautiful there. With that kind of layout, I would move there tomorrow morning, waterfalls, horses, beaches, mountains and colorful homes! I can’t wait to hear about in words too!
These are wowerrific– the images are so gorgeous, what a magnificent and beautiful place, so swept up, seems otherworldly. Looks like your trip was deservingly awesome. What a happy time.
PS the colors are insane, and did u bring that pony back on the plane? i bet it wouldn’t fit under your seat.
jess. i wish i could have brought back a horse and kept it on my porch like pippi longstocking. alas. icelandair frowned upon it. something about weight restrictions? sheesh.
jae. indeed. that photo was shot from the top of a church tower then tilt shifted in photoshop. ideally, i would have shot directly with a tilt shift lens but they are quite expensive.
and to all of you. THANK YOU so much for your sweet comments. seriously. it means the world to me. much love. xo.
Jeanine,….Those images are truly amazing…I love the moods in them..the colours..oh my the colours…..I always wanted to go to iceland but somehow it never happened…I really hope that at some point I can make it.
Thank you also so much for your comment..you know sometimes things happen like they happened to you and Joe….and when you think how great it is that they actually happen..I mean of course you could think why can’t he just be from the other city 20 miles away…
It might be hard to make decisions … and it took us also quiet a while..but after meeting in 5 different countries and 10 different cities over six years…it can feel so good that farewells are coming to their end..and you can just be together…
All the best for you two..
