purple thursday

Poppytalk’s Spring Color Week continues with purple thursday. This project is making me want to start a color-a-day blog. Is there anything prettier than a kaleidoscopic series? Seriously, I think my dream job would entail being given a weekly theme then scouting the city, nay, the world in search of photo opportunities pertaining to said theme. Surely such a job exists, yes? Well, until I find it, today’s theme is purple, mauve, violet, lavender, lilac, plum, aubergine and all other variations of the blue-red fusion.

This burst of colour is just what I needed on this windy, gray and rainy day in Toronto (omg, I think a tree just blew by my window!). I loved your yellow shots as well. My favourite of this batch is the first one but they all, as usual, look beautiful.
