the perfect weekend

February 7, 2010

The perfect weekend involves:

sleeping in under a pile of warm blankets
polaroids and people watching
movies and popcorn
slow walks and sunshine
reading a great book in a patisserie
sunday morning pancakes and coffee

… and lounging around in pajamas while having a 6-hour Skype conversation with a certain British boy is simply icing on the cake.

I hope you had a lovely weekend too.

xo.

You inspire me so! Would you share with all of us 1. the camera you use; 2. your favorite lens; 3. and the photo editing program you use; and 4. whether you are on a mac or pc.

    Thanks!
    Liz

thank you liz. that’s very kind. in response to your questions, i use a canon digital rebel xti as well as a polaroid sx-70. my favorite lens is my 50mm F1.8 and i process my photos in photoshop (on a pc).

more questions to be sure… hey j. how do you achieve the ‘pro-mist’ look? is it a digital setting or are you adding a filter, or is that (the scone? and latte?, as well as the s&p shakers) done with the polaroid… im seeing that you have lots of photos with this ‘look’ (if you will). ty.– btw, idk why, but it makes me glad that the normal lens is your favorite lens choice (the 50 for 35mm). 🙂 jess

jess… indeed, the latte and s&p shakers were taken with my sx-70. the milky goodness is polaroid magic. don’t you just love it?
