december views: of first snows and espresso
December 11, 2009
Desperately trying not to get all wrapped up (pun so intended) in the chaotic aspect of the holidays but when I do, I am powerless against the calming effects of this sweet video (via the lovely Wayfaring Wanderer). It’s like taking three chill pills while getting a foot massage and your hair washed at the salon. Doesn’t it make you feel like a lazy snowflake, slowly making your way back down to earth? What is keeping you sane this holiday season?

beautiful shots…i just had my afternoon cuppa and it soothed me and reminded me that in less than 3 hours, i can leave for the afternoon.
have a wonderful weekend.
These are beautiful pictures, soothing. Unscheduled time, silence by a crackling fire and the Christmas tree, and a good book to escape in keep me sane.
The feel of old and new at the same time — I feel as if I am strolling through a story by looking at your photos. Beautiful expressions.
beautiful everytime I love this nostalgia!
Love that video. Beautiful and the music! Thanks for sharing. Love your shots as well. The second is my favorite. I think what’s keeping me sane this season is this december views project. It;s really helping me enjoy what’s around me more. ~jeanne
your blog is so sweet, I made it a special link this week, thank you so much!!
These are lovely. 🙂
I just surrender and figure I’ll be insane all month long. I love it, actually. Every bit of the rush, the hurry, the magic. LOVE IT!!
I’m ashamed to admit that I just take the easy way out. I don’t do anything that will get me stressed. And that’s it. It’s not really the right thing to do but what can I say? That’s me.
lovely calming images … i should be stressed because my holiday party calender is so full, i have nights where i am literally running through -40 chills from one party to the next and yet … strangely, i am quite calm even if my december views all live inside my camera, lol
