day 28 – gratitude

November 28, 2008

g. biloba

It’s Thanksgiving weekend in the States and it’s got me thinking about all the things for which I am grateful.

I am grateful that my mom is in remission
I am grateful for sisters and a cousin that make me laugh like no others
I am grateful that I get to see the Stars tonight
I am grateful for fun Friday nights and lazy Sunday mornings
I am grateful for green & blue tones
I am grateful for words and photos and my passion for both
I am grateful for all the friends who will be visiting over the holidays
I am grateful to all of you for stopping by and encouraging me on this long, winding, nablopomo road

Happy Thanksgiving! What will you be giving thanks for this weekend?

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

I’m grateful that age 81 my mother is still vibrant, independent, active, and happy.

I’m grateful that I have the good sense to recognize and be grateful for all those things I’m grateful for.
I’m grateful that Alison posted such a cool list!
